The air conditioning works with a coolant, which causes condensation of water on the evaporator. Because the evaporator is built in a cool place without sunlight and has a limited water drainage, this is the ideal source for the formation of impurities such as mold and bacteria. It is precisely the mold that causes the infamous musty smell in the car.

The bacteria can cause illnesses and infections, such as colds, dry eyes, red eyes and irritations of the respiratory tract. Procar Airco Refresher provides immediate refreshment of the air conditioning and interior. Check that all windows are closed. Move the front passenger seat as far forward as possible. Turn on the engine. Turn on the air conditioning system on internal air flow, circulating the air at full power through the fans in the dashboard. Place the Aircocleaner in the footwell behind the passenger seat. Make sure that the spray can is upright. Press the nozzle down so that it is locked. Leave the vehicle after checking that all doors are closed. After the aerosol has completely emptied, let the air conditioning system run for another 5 minutes. Switch off the vehicle engine, open all doors and let it evaporate for approx. 15 to 30 minutes. N.B. Moisture may form near the operating parts, such as the handbrake/gear lever. This moisture is harmless and can be wiped away with a dry, clean cloth.

After use, the cleaning agent will be odorous for approximately 24 hours. Once this odor has disappeared, your vehicle will smell like new.
