The new formulation of Tire Coat 2.0 not only performs better for easier application and a darker glossy finish, but is now also solvent-free and has a pleasant coconut scent. Tire Coat 2.0 as such is not a traditional water-based product and uses the water element only as a delivery method for the polymer before subsequently bonding to the rubber. This means that the dressing doesn't wash off like some others.
The finish is usually fully bonded after 10 minutes and does not drip, the visual results are fantastic. A much darker band with a smooth, shiny look is standard. As an added bonus, wiping with a microfibre cloth during the curing phase provides a satin finish if you prefer. Regardless of which finish you end up going for, the result is a protected tape that is water and dust resistant without being tacky or other nasty surprises. In short, a dressing you can always rely on.
How to use: Apply Tire Coat 2.0 directly to a sponge or tire applicator. Only apply to clean dry tires for best results. We recommend the use of Wax applicator and a soft brush to thoroughly clean the tire wall before the first application. Tire Coat should be neatly applied with a very small amount, 2-3 sprays on a tire applicator can cover about 50% of your vehicle's tire.
Only for use on car tires. Avoid contact with paint and glass. Do not use on plastic interior or exterior of the vehicle. Do not apply to bare metal finishes. Apply Tire Coat in a well-ventilated area. Always wear gloves when using chemicals and avoid contact with bare skin. If irritation occurs when using Tire Coat, stop immediately and wash the affected area with plenty of cold water and scrub gently. Tire Coat causes severe irritation to eyes and respiratory tract. Always be out of the wind with any spray. If Tire Coat gets into eyes, rinse thoroughly with eye wash. Keep out of the reach of children! If swallowed, contact your local emergency services and do not induce vomiting.
